Prior to the war I was a lawyer, a failing lawyer who was piled in debt to the corrupt systems of the old world; to be honest the UU saved me, they enlightened me and freed me from the chains of the old world. I’ve, since then, felt obligated to join the CCP. Everyday that I pondered the thought of enlisting I would feel shame, as the people in my housing blocks would always threaten those who would dare enlist, so I chose cowardice and hid in my apartment so I may hide from the bullies who would often be found verbally attacking loyalists and collaborators. Finally, once again, the Union has freed me from the chains of my prior residence and ordered me to transition to the Industrial District of City Seventeen. So, before I fall to that cowardice that once bestowed me, I have made my choice to come out and enlist in the CCP, I chose to own up to my obligations to the UU and our Benefactors. So please, if you would, allow me to enlist and I will not fail our city, I will not fail my commander, and I certainly will not fail our Benefactors and the Universal Union![/size]
