He grew up in a small town outside of Dublin in Ireland. Due to work and job availability, his father and mother decided to move to the Great Lands of the USA.  His parents decided to resident themselves in a small town in Tennessee called Gatlinburg.  Quickly his father found a job working at a place called Burk line, the job paid minimum wage at that time.  His mother decided to stay at home and take care of Simon until he was old enough to attend school.  Simon mostly kept to himself, up to his high school year. He joined the football team.  He quickly picked up the sport was put on second string as a running back.  The coach never saw Simon's true potential until his Junior year when he was finally on the first string as a running back, helping get his multiple championship victories and second place.  He earned himself a good reputation with most of his classmates during high school while on the team. Ran for President during his senior year on the student council. Graduated with a class rank of Ten. Before the Seven Hour War happened, Simon was preparing to attend Tennessee Tech University.  Over the summer his parents planned a surprise for Simon's 19 birthday by giving him a ticket for a plane to Ireland, along with money his parents have been saving up for a while, so he could visit his homeland, before he starts his next 10 years or so to earn his Master's degree in Criminal Justice.  Enjoying his first week in his hometown in Ireland, speaking to relatives he never really met.  On his way to grab groceries.  He glared up into the sky seeing a blue like portal up there.  He quickly rushed home, picking up his grandmother, driving towards the big city of Dublin.  The bunkered down in a cheap motel, only leaving at night time to get food and supplies.  The next morning they turned on the TV to see that the Earth surrendered to the Combine?  Scared and worried he headed to the local government building with his.  The last thing he remembered was being forced onto a train, and having his grandmother ripped from his arms and separated from him.   After being relocated to city seventeen, Simon became deeply depressed hoping that the rumoured Lambda movement would make a change and get rid of the monsters to ruined his life.  After seeing multiple "anti citizens" being killed and examples being made, he lost hope in any resistance and change to this life style.  He heard from the others that the Benefactors as they were called, were recruiting for members of the CCA.  Bamboozled by this and realizing that nothing is going well for him, he decided to follow the crowd, hesitating it multiple times he marched down to the streets to the local precinct and asking to join the force at any cost.?
